Looking forward to the making of a video celebrating 100yrs of the phot branch and the reunion. One of our lighter moments in between jobs was playing Uckers. It is a great game and I will be introducing the game to the grandchildren. I haven’t played since 1982 and I will bring an Uckers set to the reunion.

When will summer start? It has been rather cold and wet here over the festive season and the log fire has been on for a few weeks, and there was frost on the car windscreen a couple of mornings.! There have been a few days of shorts & T shirts though.

Have been in contact with Barry Swainsbury at Whale Island regarding Barrys intention of producing a video of the phot branch. Look forward to meeting up to chat about the branch when i was in it between 1968 and 1983. At long last summer is here with temperatures getting up to what they should be.
It has been one of the wettest & coldest winters on record. It’s great to get the shorts & ‘T’ shirts on again!

Spent last evening, Friday 8th April at the Royal Albert Hall in London at the Mountbatten Concert with the massed bands of the Royal Marines.
