Pussers Forum

The Pussers Forum is now well established, it has developed into a good area for chat.  A Recent Post - "Greetings from a new member! A little wren told me this was the place to be for all the Phot Branch news and gossip.  Apparently a wise old sage with dinner in his beard dispenses wisdom on all things photographic and much more.  Much has changed since I went over to the dark-slide, here I hope I can keep up with the relentless march of the pixel and stay in touch with old friends. Bavers." See More

RNPA Party a Great Success

As the sunset, everyone came outside for the 'Mess Beatings' and to pose for the infamous picture!

June 7th 2008 was a great day, 225 former or serving photographers all gathered to reminisce and drink a few beers. Very soon everyone was chatting and just enjoying the occasion. Displays of past courses and phots at work were surrounded by the recent Peregrine Trophy images.
The food too was good so the evening was primed for stories and meeting people you had not seen for 20 years.

Please supply your stories and images from the night to add to the site.

"Just to say bloody well done. We had a great time and nothing but praise from all I've spoken to. Following from a couple from my era.

Dear Jan, Just to say what a wonderful time myself and Tony McDevitt had at the Reunion yesterday. Please accept apologies for leaving early but as you might not know Tony is having to go into Arrow Park Hospital,Birkenhead, Monday 9th June for an operation to remove a lump from his throat and due to this we had to make sure he was on Sunday's train. We did just have a quick quiet drink outside the gates, with Steve Benn and (Andrew Sinclair who I went to HMS Ganges with and also through phot school). They both returned to the "do" but Tony was feeling a bit tired due to all his medication. Thought the "do" was tremendous, hopefully it wont be too long before we can all get together again as it was good to see some old faces and talk about the past. Please pass on all regards from Tony and myself to everyone that made this such a good occasion."
