Ray Pogson managed a very respectable third place in the marathon at HMS Excellent, Whale Island in the event held there in 1965.

Ray, with others was representing the Fraser Gunnery Range team. Here he can be seen accepting the Inter-Block Trophy on behalf of the Fraser Battery team.
