We’ve been informed by Maurice ‘Jan’ Brailey that our good friend Tony McDevitt has died recently.

My personal memories of Tony is that we served together back in 1966 at RNAS Yeovilton. I remember that Tony was a keen rally driver and supporter of this motor sport. Some nights he would take us out in his very quick Mini Cooper around the country lanes of Somerset, at great speed! Sometimes I recall it was a bit hairy!

Maurice will be putting together an obituary for the association that will appear in the next newsletter.

The pictures were taken of Tony at our reunion in 2012 when we held it in Portsmouth, and during our visit to HMS Warrior.
